Tori Kline, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, CBIS, RYT
outpatient therapist
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Certified Art Therapist, Certified Brain Injury Specialist and Registered Yoga Teacher, I specialize in taking a creative and holistic approach to help clients find balance of mind, body and spirit. I seek to support and empower individuals to develop skills that align with their values and strengths, as a way to get in touch with a more mindful and centered sense of being to overcome life’s challenges.
After obtaining my master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University, I spent several years in the field of Brain Injury Rehabilitation, working as an Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor and Program Specialist throughout the continuum of care from outpatient to long term residential. I utilized art and counseling interventions to lead both group and individual sessions to support client strengths and goals, facilitating cognitive, social and affective change.
My therapeutic approach stems from both a Cognitive Behavioral and Client-centered approach to therapy, while also incorporating elements from Humanistic and Strengths-Based therapies to support and guide each individual to meet their needs. I aim to assist adults experiencing brain injury, physical disability or medical trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and chronic pain. I believe that therapeutic rapport is at the core of developing an effective working alliance and seek to tailor treatment and interventions to each client. This may include building awareness, cognitive strategies, coping skills, and insight into thoughts and behaviors. I am also able to incorporate mindfulness-based skills such as breathwork, guided meditation and body awareness. I look forward to helping you find the balance and skills you need to manage life’s challenges and stresses.
