Olivia plunkett, MSW, LCSW

outpatient therapist

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am a person-centered therapist who works from a polyvagal-informed lens- that is, the science of feeling safe on a nervous system level. For only when our nervous system feels safe, can healing and growth occur. I work with my clients to cultivate a nurturing therapeutic relationship in which we can explore your current struggles and challenges from a place of curiosity, compassion, and non-judgement. We will get to know your unique nervous system and learn how to work with it, so you can spend more time living from a place of felt-safety, hope, and connection rather than stuck in a place of pain, fear, and disconnection.

I earned my Master's degree in Social Work from West Chester University in 2016, and I have been working in the field as a Licensed Clinician for the past 7 years in school, home, and private practice settings. While I enjoy working with all ages, my primary area of focus is treating individuals in their late teens, 20s, and 30s experiencing anxiety, depression, and just not feeling good enough. In addition to clinical work, I also enjoy sharing my learnings through writing. I published a book in 2022, called Soul on Fire, filled with strategies for cultivating self-worth and greater fulfillment.

If any part of you is nudging you to take the next step, I encourage you to reach out. We can then begin working together to help you achieve your goals and experience greater well-being. You may also choose to utilize my book, Soul on Fire, as a resource. It can be purchased at the link below.
